Typical qualifications for buying a Habitat house include:
1. You are a year-round resident with an annual family income between $24,700 and $65,900 (based on the 2010 median family income for a family of four; less for a smaller family, more for a larger family).
and
2. You are willing to give 350-500 hours of sweat equity (based on family size) towards the construction of a house.
Anyone who qualifies may apply. In some instances town preference is a consideration.
Typical Completed applications must be accompanied by
a $16 application fee ($32 for joint applicants) and requested information must be postmarked by (to be announced)
